READING COMPREHENSION AND WRITING TEST: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17
For the reading comprehension test students are responsible for all vocabulary to date. There is a vocabulary list in the vocabulary section. There are four sections for the test:
A. Dialogues with missing expressions: Students will choose the correct expression from a list. (10 pts.)
B. Questions with multiple choice answers: Students will demonstrate their understanding of the questions asked by choosing the correct response. (10 pts)
C. Word bank with sentences: Students will complete 15 sentences by choosing the correct word or expression from a list. (15 pts.)
D. Unseen article: Students will answer questions on an article. (10 pts.)
For the writing test, students will demonstrate their understanding of the imperative. They will be given three scenarios and will have to write orders / suggestions appropriate for each one. They will write five sentences for each scenario.

We are also currently working on a review of present tense -ER verbs. At this point students will simply be responsible for recognition of sound and meaning for these verbs. That will be the cutoff for this test.
